Cleaning up the mid-bass mess allows your speakers to deliver much cleaner midrange response with better imaging. You could spend this on a few marginal tweaks that won’t change much of anything but your bank balance, but the MEN220 will definitely get your system where you’ve always wanted it to be—and it’s a hell of a lot simpler and less-maddening than moving speakers and dampening your room.
